All Malaysian women bowler that compete in World Women Championship 2009 in Las Vegas, failed to make the cut for step ledder slot after preliminaries round of single event.However, reigning World Master Ranking Champion, Siti Safiyah Amirah give a good start of her game when she finished 6th overall and was the best Asian bowler so far.Siti registered 176,198,214,279,194 and 266 with avarage 221.17.Malaysia first PBA bowler Shalin Zulkifli could only managed 1,297 (211,173,218,192,265,and 236) to finished 19th overall.Zandra Aziela also did well to finished 21th with line up of 224,235, 210,223,204 and 186 for a total 1,282 pinfalls.Meanwhile the single gold medalist of 2005 WWC edition, Esther Cheah of Malaysia seem a bit struggle with shot oil lane condition of Cashmen Bowling Centre.She start poor games with 146 before improved her scored to registered 181,223,247,215 and finished 200 for a combined 1,212 pinfalls for 64 spot.Southpow Sharon Koh who was compete for second consecutive time also failed to make the cut after shot 1,207 pinfalls to finished 71th.Last edition single event bronze medalist,Wendy Chai failed to retained her podium finished when she also struggle with the lane condition.Wendy only manage to shot 1,163 to finished 116th over 228 contestent.
