45th Qubica AMF Bowling World Cup at Malaysia


Malaysia hope, Siti Safiyah Amirah make the cut for semi final.This is her second time compete in AMF World Cup.Her first debut is 2006 at Venuezuela where she finished 10.Picture from Asian Bowling Federation website.

Siti Safiyah Amirah stand a chance of becoming the first Malaysian to claim the AMF World Cup title as she made the cut for semifinal.In the quaterfinals of eight bowler,Siti showed her fighting spirit when she blaze teh lanes with 226,258,186,290,233,183,201 and 220 for 1,797 including 120 bonus point to place herself second spot.However, Siti need to stay focus when others bowler also play well.Canada,s Caroline Lagrange take over the lead as she fired the lanes of Melaka International Bowling Centre(MIBC)with 234,245,235,203,227,276,237 and 225 for 1,882 pinfalls including 240 bonus points.Caroline also won all her eight match!.First block leader, Zara Giles of England dropped to third place after score 1,707 for a grand total 8,823 pinfalls.
Other five bowler who failed to make the cut for semi finals is Baek Seung Ja(Korea) 4th 8,719,Helen Johnsson (Sweden) 5th 8,595, Liza Del Rosario(Phi) 6th 8,575, Tennelle Milligan(Usa) 7th 8,539 , Diana Zavjalora (Latvia) 8th 8,488.

Meanwhile, the journey for Zulmazran Zulkifi in this AMF edition come to end after he failed to make the cut for semi final.Zulmazran finished at 6th with 8,919 even he shot the higheset score the among eight participant (1,755 pinfalls)In last year edition at Hermosillo,Mexico Zulmazran finished 3rd.First block leader,Choi Yong-Kyu of Korea maintained his top spot as he added 1,764 including first perfect games during 38 games for a grand total 9,182. Micheal Schmidt of Canada come to second with 9,062 while Indonesia Ryan Lalisang also advanced to semifinal with 8,988 pinfalls.

American pro and the favourite,Walter Ray William Jr failed to captured the title when he finished semifinal at 6th position with 8,919.
